Here’s the gist.
I called south Florida home until college brought me to Dallas, Texas. Now in New York, planning events for the world’s elite, I’ve weathered a (serious) winter and a season of change. An insatiable curiosity for more words and more food keeps me hungry, wherever the road takes me.
Food and words are everywhere. That’s what I love about them. There are ones you don’t know; ones that you do but not how to use; and ones that you use but don’t know their limits. I like to see how far I can take both of them.
I’ll die happy when I finish a NYT Sunday crossword, in sharpie, in under 20 minutes. Open a restaurant, where guests place orders on mad lib menus. Swim with a whale shark. Learn how to relax. Share a veal Milanese with Zach Galifianakis. And maybe, just maybe, have my own How I Built This episode with Guy Raz. I digress.
I hope finding my portfolio feels like pulling old cash out of your back pocket. Spend it wisely.
Last thing:
1) I really do like words
2) My last name is pronounced “el-hill-oh”
